Architectural Excellence : The agricultural sector’s reliance on the employment of foreign workers is rapidly increasing. Employers are required to provide housing for workers hired from outside of Canada and Britco’s employee housing complexes have been designed specifically to meet those needs.

The building is divided into four quadrants with each quadrant independent of the others. Each quadrant consists of 2 bedrooms with a shared washroom, a common living room, and a fully-equipped kitchen and eating area. The bedrooms include 2 sets of bunk beds, a large closet, desk and chair. The kitchens feature custom millwork cabinets and quality appliances including 2 refrigerators and stacking washer/dryer.

Cost Energy Effectiveness : The building is a very cost-effective housing solution for the agricultural market as it can be relocated to other properties as operational requirements change and, because it is built off site, there is no impact on the land or the company during construction.
