Architectural Excellence : This 24’x45’ modular building is being used as an office to sell time shares to vacationers. It needed to be designed to fit into a certain area on the existing private golf course. Therefore, we had to get creative with overall building size and the layout of the site-built wood decking. We also needed the interior features to match their “Villa Style” permanent buildings, so all the interior finishes and casework were completed after the building was installed.

Cost Energy Effectiveness : Modular construction was requested since it provided a quicker occupancy than stick-built. They also needed the flexibility of relocating the building, in case the golf course needed this area for future growth. We partnered with their interior designers and contractors so that the same finishes were installed in the modular and the “Villa Style” buildings. The deck and ramp we designed so that the existing mature landscape would not need to be replaced.

Technical Innovation : We had the manufacture provide a certain roof pitch to go around existing trees, since we could not prune any of the 75 year old oak trees. The ceiling system was a mixture of suspended t-grid and texture & painted sheetrock to give some depth. We also used soffit and can lights throughout to create the requested accent lighting.
