Architectural Excellence : Walton on the Park is a condominium high rise in Chicago's most upscale neighborhood, targeting its wealthiest, most sophisticated home buyers. The modular construction of Walton on the Park's sales center was vital to its success because it allows the sales office to exist on-site, in the midst of this ritzy, urban location where permanent construction is expensive and complicated. The modular building supports a stucco façade as well as a grand entranceway mimicking the colors and architecture of the high-rise building itself. The sales center foyer features 9' 6" interior ceilings with custom wood soffits and luxurious marble flooring, an element which required special trailer engineering due to its weight.

The sales office has an open flow through the reception and building information areas (created by 3 modular structures) into the vignettes and design center areas (created by the remaining 2 structures) where buyers select their cabinets, counters, and other finishes.

Cost Energy Effectiveness : The Walton on the Park sales center incorporates a number of features to ensure energy efficiency and a reduced cost of maintaining and operating the building over time. Sheet rock and ample wall insulation throughout the interior combine with insulated windows to minimize energy loss. An upgraded HVAC system complements the well-insulated building to maintain temperature at low cost through Chicago's cold winters and hot summers.

Technical Innovation : The unique design and construction seen in the Walton on the Park sales center incorporates quality materials with engineering and design elements to create a professional facility well suited to the residential real estate market. The structure's exterior is specifically engineered to support the custom designed façade that gives this sales center its one-of-a-kind look. Luxurious and heavy marble flooring in the foyer required placing support trusses every 8" on center (instead of the typical 16" gap) to support the unusual weight. Interior ceilings measure 9' 6" tall, offering impressive spaciousness.
