VA Hospital Office Complex
Additional Info
Award Winner : United Rentals - Storage & Office Solutions
Architectural Excellence : This spacious 7,200 square foot office complex was brought together with 10 - 12x60 modules mated together for a sleek design to enhance office space and conference activity. The exterior was finished with an outside brick vinyl exterior and painted hardy panel to give the nice stone foundation finish that matches the existing VA facilities. The beautifully hung cloth awnings reach out and give protection from the elements as one enters and leaves the facility.
The final touches come from the concrete work done around the facility allowing for ADA accessibility.
Cost Energy Effectiveness : The office complex was built with cost effectiveness and energy efficiency in mind by using vinyl brick exterior panels that are less expensive than the more conventional masonry brick finish. Although the customer requested a permanent facility, we designed it such that if their situation changes in the future, the complex can be easy disassembled into (10) 12’ modules that can be relocated or reconfigured if need be.

We also worked with Grinnell Fire to install a state of the art fire alarm system.
