Architectural Excellence : Sanctuary Club is a collection of 62 luxury residences bringing a new level of sophistication to Chicago's northwest suburbs. In order to attract buyers, the Sanctuary Club sales center needed to express the natural surroundings and upscale amenities of the development before new home construction began. An extended canopy at the entrance adds a level of architectural sophistication seen traditionally in permanent construction. Sheetrock and ample lighting throughout the interior combine with dark wood and warm colors to continue the atmosphere of permanent construction inside the sales center. Coffered ceilings in the product display area and crown molding throughout add elements of traditional architectural luxury important to this type of buyer. And because of the sales center's 9'6" interior ceiling height, these elements add style without making the space feel tight or confined.

Cost Energy Effectiveness : The Sanctuary Club Sales Center was constructed with cost and energy-saving materials inside and out. Interior walls use the same 5/8” sheet rock, insulation, and insulated windows used in permanent structures. Not only do they look better, but they improve temperature control in the sales center, minimizing energy costs. The sales center's upgraded HVAC system works in tandem with interior insulators to reduce the potentially high costs of heating the unit in Chicago's harsh winters and cooling it through hot summers.

Technical Innovation : To make the Sanctuary Club sales center look like more than just a trailer, a number of innovative techniques were put to use. The modular structures were engineered to support the sizeable entrance awning that strongly resembles permanent construction. In addition, the 9'6" interior ceiling height is a significant advancement over the 8' ceilings of traditional trailers, again reinforcing the feel of permanent construction. This sales center also meets stringent local codes making it a certified non-combustible building.
