Architectural Excellence : This building is constructed out of a used 40' HC shipping container. It is divided into 4 distinct areas: Beer sales, soft serve ice cream sales, walk-in refrigerator, and back of house. The interior was finished with Aluminum cladded wall panels giving a clean, high tech look and epoxy floors. Custom beer taps were installed and are visible from a window in the back of the container as well as the point of sale in the front of the container. The ice cream service area is enclosed in health code compliant food service windows. The exterior of the unit has 360 degree visibility and is clad with a combination of Garapa wood, custom black metal panels, and corrugated metal flashing to protect the plumbing infrastructure. The container has a mechanical awning with adjustable louvers. The structure is secured with a 20' Garapa wood sliding door. A wooden deck with seating and shade structures surrounds the container and the new Banc of CA stadium provides a dramatic backdrop.
Cost Energy Effectiveness : Short build time. built with external, accessible plumbing, electrical, water connections to enable easy install and relocatability if required.
