Award Winner : ATCO Structures & Logistics Ltd.

Architectural Excellence : Tarmarugal required a practical, attractive and efficient office for the company’s headquarters in Santiago, Chile. ATCO’s design for the two-story, 9,000 square-foot facility met the client’s immediate need for a space that allowed easy communication between different company departments and employees.

This multi-story office building with wood siding was painted to reflect the client’s logo colors. The exterior pillars are architectural accents that double as air conditioning chases ATCO was able to incorporate into the facility’s exterior style.

Cost Energy Effectiveness : Tarmarugal had experienced tremendous growth over the last several years and as a result had outgrown its current office. ATCO’s modular solution was the perfect fit for the client who required a simple, rapid install solution to meet its growing needs without great disruption to ongoing business.

Technical Innovation : ATCO used high-quality materials and design standards to ensure the roof and walls were well insulated. This includes PVC one piece membrane roofing, alum thermo pane windows and vinyl covered gyproc fireguard type X. A split system air conditioner was designed with special complex joints to run the condenser lines to the second floor.
