Award Winner : Nadler Modular Structures
Architectural Excellence : The building is long and narrow with a central hallway and 20 offices spanning the length of the complex. The entrance way is a large vestibule that opens towards the middle of the building. The complex also contains men’s and women’s restroom facilities, a utility room, and a janitor’s closet. The exterior color scheme was planned to compliment the existing buildings on campus with the trim and siding painted in tannery brown and the mansard and skirting painted in a cantilever tan. Pre-cast concrete steps were positioned outside each of the side exits giving the building a permanent look.
Cost Energy Effectiveness : The light fixtures in this building have multiple ballasts installed so that the central bulb functions independently of the 2 outer bulbs. Giving the user more control over how much lighting he/she really needs will increase energy and light efficiency and save money overall.

Technical Innovation : In accordance with the customers request, an emergency lighting system was designed for this building. The system is designated to run off of a generator with emergency lights installed at each end of the hallway. The units were also designed with one 480/277 volt, 100 amp, 3 phase load center en lieu of a traditional 4-150 amp sub-panel with a customer supplied main distribution panel, saving the customer an added on-site expense.
