Architectural Excellence : Triumph successfully completed the largest modular move in New England history in collaboration with Tappe Associates, DTI Inc., and the Sizer Foundation. The modulars were set in place by a 365 ton crane on piered foundation and frost wall. The Parker Charter Essential School addition features two-tone hardieplank siding to match the surrounding community at Fort Devens. Triumph Modular installed custom steel fabricated railings and wire mesh in the connecting corridor, making for an excellent transition from the existing school to the new school. Vinyl composition tile was installed using MORSE code consisting of clever quotes chosen by the students and teachers of the Parker School. Since this was a controlled construction project, each major milestone of the project was monitored by our engineers - Civil, Fire Protection, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Architectural.
Cost Energy Effectiveness : As the largest modular relocation project in New England, all modular units were escorted safely from Wachusett School in Holden, MA to Devens, MA and installed to meet the needs of hundreds of students and teachers at the Parker Charter Essential School at half the cost of building new.

Technical Innovation : Due to the renovated reuse of this project, the method in which this 25,000 square foot building was removed, transported and re-installed is unique in itself. New axles were fabricated and installed to ensure a safe delivery during the 60 minute trip from Holden, MA to Devens, MA. Many upgrades were made to the new Parker school building including electrical and fire alarm upgrades as well as the implementation of new plumbing and sprinkler components. All mechanical rooftop units were cleaned, balanced and tested once construction was complete to ensure the best air quality. To meet current Massachusetts building code, a new 2,500lb hydraulic elevator was installed onsite at the Parker Charter Essential School.
