Additional Info
Award Winner : M Space Holdings LLC
Architectural Excellence : Designed as a “Plug & Play” system to meet the needs of the Florida Clay County School District for flexibility in mobility of the units. The plan integrated the non-combustible modular buildings with the new school under construction. The forty-eight (48) Type 11B classrooms are consistent in appearance, finish and functionality.
Cost Energy Effectiveness : Utilization of the standard Type IIB structures with forethought into reuse and portability makes this an extremely cost effective solution for the Clay County School District. The ability duplicate this type of process for future projects provides efficiencies that result in cost savings. Also the ability to relocate these buildings as the future needs require was another major consideration in the selection of modular construction.
