Cost Energy Effectiveness : The building is part of a government program, an there are two basic designs used as templates for children areas, babies and general rooms.

Architectural Excellence : The INTEGRA Nursery School building designed for 40 children under 3 years old and 20 babies, is located in a humble neighborhood of Santiago. This modular building was used to assure construction scheduled, and better thermic performance. This building provides children with food and sleeping rooms. It has a covered hall, with a special rubber pavement playground. Attic panels with windows provide natural light to this space. Main material is lumber and OSB and the exterior finish is painted SmartSide panels. The building has a kitchen area to prepare meals, and also an administration office.

Green Building Description : This is a wooden structured building, using intense R20 insulation on walls and floors. All lumber is Chilean lumber, treated according to Chilean standards, and recicled rubber flooring is used in the central playground. Also cenital windows provide natural lighting.

Technical Innovation : All construction of modules and panels was done at Tecno Fast Santiago plant, and delivered to site according to schedule requirements. A complete kitchen and administration office were included. All access and windows are covered with steel fences to prevent vandalism. HVAC is provided in all rooms with Ecofriendly split 12000 BTU air conditioning equipments.
