Architectural Excellence : With the use of two shipping containers this building was strategically designed for a two-story scorekeeper’s booth. The lower module contains an office, complete with air conditioning and windows that look out onto the ball field. The second floor is an open plan with large bay windows providing elevated views of the field. The exterior aluminum stairway was custom-built to provide fast accessibility to the second story. The exterior of the building is wrapped in smart panel and the interior consists of vinyl luan paneling providing a sound barrier. The functionality of this building was designed to withstand multiple relocations around campus. Both the interior and exterior finishes come together to present a building that is professional, functional and cost-effective. Installed at one of Southern California’s premier private high schools, appearance and presentation were of the upmost importance.
Cost Energy Effectiveness : With shipping containers being readily available, the core of the building was built/modified within a very short timeframe. Limited energy was expended in delivery and installation allowing for a fast return on the customers investment.
