Architectural Excellence : Nesbit Elementary School is located roughly 23 miles south of San Francisco. This stunning two story classroom wing is designed in a "L" shape to efficiently use the site space as well as provide the flexibility for future classrooms as the campus expands. Classrooms make use of the California sun with large windows and dimmer controlled solar tubes, enabling the staff to save energy and money. We also designed and built the custom staircases and hand railing that safely connects the second floor to the ground. Vibrant colors were chosen to set the building apart and provide symmetry to the structure.
Cost Energy Effectiveness : Our streamlined design and optimized construction techniques enabled us to work both in the field and in our Lodi plant saving time instead of having to wait for site work to be completed. This coupled with nearly no material loss due to weather in our under roof 8 acre plant translate directly into overall cost savings.

Technical Innovation : With a construction and installation time of just 5 months the innovative construction process we employed enabled us to be in and out of a site quickly. This reduces the impact on students and staff and gets them into their new learning space as quick as possible. Our knowledgeable staff was efficiently placed and tackled both the site work as well as the module construction in our facility. The classrooms were designed as efficiently as possible which allowed us to build not only this structure in 5 months but also 2 additional nearby sites.

Green Building Description : The classroom wings at Nesbit Elementary are Cal Green Code compliant and surpass Title 24 energy standards by 8%. The large dual glazed low E windows and adjustable solar tubes allow the classrooms to take full advantage of the sun and reduce the energy needed to illuminate the space. Additionally interior lights have self dimming features that allow them to adjust to the incoming natural light. Low-flow faucets and toilets also help save precious water and further drive down operating costs.
