Technical Innovation : MSU needed extensive security features for the cash room. Roll up security screens and a panic button were installed to ensure the safety of university staff. Additionally, panelized walls were incorporated to create more office space and work stations for the admissions workers.

The modular approach let MSU admissions and bursar services stay open and keep helping students and staff while affording the flexibility to expand or relocate their temporary facility in the future if necessary.

Architectural Excellence : WillScot partnered with Quality Modular to build administrative and financial offices for Montclair State University during the renovations of their admissions and bursar buildings. 10 modular units were connected to make a 7,200-sq.-ft. complex consisting of 26 offices, two bathrooms and a cash room that will be used by more than 21,000 university students and staff.
The exterior was designed to match the surrounding campus and sport the school’s red and white colors. The interior space was outfitted with cash drawers, safes, steps, ramps, desks and chairs to make a useful space for learning, socializing and work.
