Architectural Excellence : This building is a 14' x 28' single module with a steel perimeter frame that sits directly on a finished concrete slab. It includes a 2.5” to 12” mono pitch roof slope with aesthetically pleasing roof shingles. The exterior wall material consists of 7/16” Smart Panel. The guard shack has two 6080 steel patio doors on each side of the building that slide open for easy access to individuals entering and exiting the site. The front of the building offers great visibility by means of a 6040 dual-glazed window.
Cost Energy Effectiveness : Tremendous cost savings were achieved due to the time and effort for us to receive all the approvals through the state of Arizona instead of going through the traditional stick built construction approval process, where approvals would take place at a much slower pace by local jurisdiction. We saved approximately three months in time savings and approximately $2,000 in permit costs.

Technical Innovation : This 14' x 28' steel perimeter framed guard shack was designed and installed to improve the office setting for the Security Staff on site. Previously the staff was using a standard 8' x 20' mobile office that did not have a restroom, any running water and entailed any and all visitors to park their car in identified parking spots so they could walk up a flight of stairs to enter the office to check in. Now all security measures to enter the mine site are done at grade level while a car pulls up directly to a staff member. The security staff has a private restroom facility with running water located in this office and IT that is first class. The upgraded office facility has improved staff morale exponentially.
