Architectural Excellence : Two buildings of 5760 and 2880 square feet respectively were designed and built for a large office staff to move to an entirely different location on the March Air Reserve Base. Due to their current offices being old, small, and originally being designed for different purposes, the March JPA worked with us to design and build two buildings to accommodate their increasing staff and conference needs. Being the sanctioning body for the land usage on the Reserve base, March JPA custom designed the exterior finishing’s and landscaping to meet base code requirements. The primary office building utilizes eight 12’x60’ floors, and consists of 14 private offices, two large conference rooms, break room, IT room, file storage room, and cubicle area. The second building consists of four 12’x60’ floors; its primary purpose in design is for large development meetings consisting of private and government interests.
Cost Energy Effectiveness : Capitalizing on short factory production time, quick set-up and finishing of modules once onsite helped lower the initial set-up costs. This will also allow the customer to move these buildings in the future as development needs arise. Both buildings are designed with a variety of concerns in mind; in order to withstand the area’s long summer heat HardiePanel™ was used to help maintain a quality exterior finishing, as well as providing insulating and fire proofing qualities. Fire sprinklers were also installed in the drop ceiling to provide added protection. Needing to be versatile as well as professional the interior walls were built with wrapped sheet rock that provides a professional look as well as durability and efficiency.

Technical Innovation : Using standard size modules for building construction, production time was short which allowed the customer to occupy the building in less time than standard office construction. Due to the grade of the land, drainage basins were created under the building to allow water run-off. A brick perimeter foundation on three sides of the building was also built prior to module delivery. This allowed for a finished grade level entrance to the buildings, as well as the ability to deliver and set the buildings in a short amount of time. The IT Room was designed with full height walls to protect servers that contain sensitive information.
