Architectural Excellence : Garden style enclosed corridor 4 building complex with a total of 48 units. This apartment offers 2 and 3 bedroom suites all equipped with in suite central heat and air conditioning, full sized stainless steel appliances and in suite laundry. Madison Ridge residents enjoy spacious suite layouts, contemporary interior finishes, proximity to a large neighbourhood park and playground, and the conveniences of nearby stores and services.
Site conditions called for smaller buildings that permitted access from both sides. Some challenges the original building design presented were some difficult connections to be made onsite. Designers got creative with special accesses points in the corridor breezeway, not common to most projects.
Cost Energy Effectiveness : The manufacture has partnered with this developer on over 30 apartment buildings in the same city. This partnerships and familiarity with working with each other has driven costs down and allowed for a smoother process all around. Though this building design didn’t follow the same style as most other projects completed for this developer, the two were still able to find some efficiencies to drive the cost down including the building of 3 identical buildings that went up at the same time in a different location.

Technical Innovation : Developers chose modular technology to bring this project to market as quickly as possible, meet the high demand for housing, curb rising labor costs in the region, and take advantage of the increased control modular manufacturing offers.
Modular factories typically have an acute focus on using resources efficiently, this project was no exception. Particularly important to the projects was to reduce the amount of onsite labor required thus taking advantage of a strong labor market at the factory and avoiding the pitfalls of an expensive labor market at the site of the apartment.
