Architectural Excellence : In trying to resolve a sudden shortage of school room space the government of Buenos Aires appointed Ruca Panel to quickly design, build and deploy on site a high quality brand new school in down town Buenos Aires. High ceilings between teaching rooms provided naturally daylight and were designed and surrounded by wide corridors plus kitchen, dining room, restrooms, administration office all these with handicapped capabilities. Each Classroom has its own outdoor expansion/playground area to provide a higher quality teaching environment. The Building was finished with cement board painted in different colours and the windows carpentry was done in pre-painted aluminum and armored glass.

Cost Energy Effectiveness : The construction schedule was reduced by as much as 70% against other building systems, saving significant costs in labor, mobilization and demobilization. The Project was built according to the Buenos Aires building codes for schools and other education facilities. Schoolyard and Windows were carefully designed to maximize daylight Access just to minimize electrical lighting usage.

Technical Innovation : We designed and built this facility with an optimum lay-out for all school rooms and support sectors for both teachers and students. The schools was build with 28 units of 20 ft by 10 ft by 10 ft high. The roofed patio ceiling was done with 14 reinforced individual roof panels made by Ruca Panel. To minimize air conditioning equipment requirements we added and additional fiberglass insulation layer and thermo acoustic ceiling panels. Design, manufacture, and final assembly of the building was done entirely by Ruca Panel.
