Architectural Excellence : This modular classroom consisted of two 14’x72’ modules installed together to form a two classroom building. The building was installed with the threshold of the doors at 30 inches. This method of installation allowed the customer to install a standard thirty-foot ramp system, in return lowered the cost of construction.
The exterior siding color is designer beige with brown ascents on a mono-pitch EPDM rubber roof. The classroom has cabinets, counter top and a sink in each of the two classrooms. The interior walls have vinyl covered gypsum and 26oz commercial grade carpeting which provides good acoustical treatment for a teaching and learning environment

Cost Energy Effectiveness : As the junior high school ran out of classroom space, this temporary modular building provided the most cost-effective solution with the speed of delivery without compromising the quality of the building.
A 30 ga. Galvanized steel underbelly installed under the floor aided as both a moisture and air infiltration barrier for the building. The insulation values are R-19 floor, R-11 sidewalls and R-30 ceiling. The use of perimeter frames in lieu of outrigger frames decreased the number block columns thereby lowered the cost in the set of the building.

Technical Innovation : During the manufacturing process for a 28’x72’ classroom building, we used two 14’x72’ units with 10” Jr. I-beam perimeter steel frames and 8” Jr. I-beam cross members 4’ on center. To compliment the self-efficiency of the unit, each classroom came equipped with its own utility sink, counter top, significant cabinet space, large teachers closet and a drinking fountain. The building also has a tile main entry with men’s and woman’s ADA complaint restrooms.
Each classroom came equipped with a wall hung HVAC unit with a CRV to aide in the fresh air requirements. This classroom also had insulated glass windows that allow ample natural light with high-energy efficient values.
