Architectural Excellence : One modular unit makes up 720 sq. ft. of a SCIF facility for the 7th Signal Command. Secure compartmentalized information facilities are highly specialized buildings with secure communications, sound proofing, security, access control, etc. SCIF facilities are designed to process Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) level classified information and serve an important role in protecting valuable information of the US Federal Government. This facility incorporated a secure perimeter fence along with reinforced walls, roof and floor. This SCIF facility complies with DCID 6/9 and NISPOM standards and that are fully accredited by the US Government requirements for SCIF applications. Complete turn key construction included delivery, set-up, steps, fire alarm, and SIPR NIPR TS intrusion detection. In the unsecure world we live in, Icon is making a difference. Cost Energy Effectiveness : Icon Construction’s modular buildings meet or exceed all current energy codes. Sustainability begins with Icon’s centrally located U.S. manufacturing plant. The 65,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility utilizes an abundance of natural lighting and other energy saving technologies. Materials utilized in Icon modular buildings include recycled steel, recycled carpet, recycled lumber, LED lighting and double-paned low-E windows as well as various other products. In addition, unused materials are recycled. Icon Construction’s modular manufacturing process allows us to provide a cost-effective modular building solution by managing time spent on construction and by controlling other factors like labor and material costs.

Technical Innovation : The physical construction, access control, and alarming of the Icon Modular SCIF meet all requirements as defined under Director of Central Intelligence Directive (DCID) 6/9. This includes all STC ratings and Testing. The computers running within this facility operate under rules set forth in ICD 503. Computers and telecommunication equipment within this facility meet all TEMPEST emanations specification as directed by a Certified TEMPEST Technical Authority (CTTA).
