Award Winner : Champion Commercial Structures
Architectural Excellence : Hotel projects are some of the most consistent and modular friendly projects. Champion Commercial Structures has put a strong focus on hotels with our commercial team. By manufacturing the repetitive areas of the project, this allows us to complete more during the production process and still provides time for the site contractor to build out the areas that require the custom touch.
Cost Energy Effectiveness : Our continued relationship with the Marriott Brand has brought opportunities and successes for both Champion Commercial Structures and the Marriott Franchisees. Allowing us the opportunity to ship loose the FFE components in the modules, we have been able to save last minute heartache and time for the General Contractor and Owner when they are tying up the loose ends right before opening the building for operation.

Technical Innovation : This project was built as a hybrid with both modular and conventional construction. The back of house and reception spaces on the first-floor were built on site with a conventional slab on grade and taller ceilings. The guest suites on the first-floor were built as modules and extended panelized walls to raise the bearing point for the second-floor modules above so they could accommodate the taller ceilings in the site-built areas. We manufactured the stair towers as modules. The elevators shafts and cars were provided by a modular elevator company.
