Green Building Description : All facets of construction were scrutinized to ensure that the buildings and the entire project was both eco friendly and "green".
First the site design was structured to maximize efficiency and minimize site impact. By having all of the structures primary entrances face a central courtyard with large shade areas, it gave the children wonderful play areas protected from the sun and elements.
Next, in developing the building specifications, close attention was focused on using recycled materials and hi-effiency elements. Special attention was focused on incorporating elements that delivered good indoor air quality and low maintenance. Additionally, hi quality windows, insulation and reflective roofing materials were also incorporated in to the project.
