Architectural Excellence : Doches Credit Union planned an expansion into the market in Hemphill, Texas. Wanting to have the capability to service customers with a full featured bank, yet not wanting to have to build a large branch and incur the costs and timeframe associated with conventional construction, working with BOXX Modular Banks to provide a modular bank building was the best solution.

Cost Energy Effectiveness : Modular construction provided cost effectiveness, high quality and expediency in which to complete the project. Building costs and start-to-finish times were reduced over conventional construction, allowing the bank to be up and running, capturing a share of the marketplace as soon as possible. The design used at Doches Credit Union allows for future expansion by adding two more modules as the branch grows.

Technical Innovation : The client chose to work with BOXX Modular Banks due to our experience and on-site project management. The bank building was slab mounted which gave it a ground level approach and entrance requiring no steps. The project was completed in a very unseasonably wet, rainy period for springtime in East Texas which caused unavoidable delays in the site preparation and foundation work. By using modular construction, once the building was delivered to the site and placed on the foundation, it allowed the credit union to be up and serving customers in a short period of time. The modular bank building includes an inside teller area, drive through teller capability, office, breakroom, restroom and vault. The outside has brick exterior and is landscaped to look like a permanent branch bank.
