Architectural Excellence : We designed a two story facility that would give them the look and feel of a high end dealership as they sell high end luxury cars. The building was built to be installed in the middle of September when business slows down. The project included relocating their existing Modular to a different location on the lot and temporarily hooking it up so they could continue to operate during the installation. The new building was installed at grade level on a stem wall foundation and features Hardy Stucco Siding with a Vinyl Brick wainscot around the entire building. The interior is tape and texture with 9’ ceilings and features glass partitions to separate Sales people.
Cost Energy Effectiveness : The customer really wanted a brick wainscot around the perimeter on the building but the cost of having a mason install it was cost prohibitive. We found a product called Nailite www.exteriabp.com which is a vinyl brick siding. Although skeptical at the time of design, this feature proved to give a very real look while not breaking the customer’s bank.

Technical Innovation : The upstairs module is for finance and management. It was important to have large windows overlooking the lot for management. We wanted to have an equal amount of window upstairs as downstairs and line them up for curb appeal. The top story’s floor plan didn’t allow us to accomplish this due to an upstairs bathroom facility so we installed a false window with Mini blind to keep the look the customer wanted. In addition, the customer wanted operable window but had two break-ins with their previous buildings so we installed the windows upside downs allowing for top only opening but out of reach for intruders during off hours. In the Pacific Northwest we receive a lot of rain and having a flat roof can cause a mess during heavy rain with water spilling over all edges. We implemented a transverse pitch membrane roof system with internal gutters that has already proven a success.
