Architectural Excellence : Pac-Van teamed with Keys Architect and J. Allen Associates to provide the Beach Credit Union with a beautiful 4388 sf financial institution meeting the needs of their growing clientele in Shepardsville, KY. The design consists of five modular floors brought together with one of the five modules featuring a beautiful raised vaulted ceiling with unfinished drywall which was completed at the site. The interior has dramatic marble tile in the center of the common area, with custom crown molding throughout the interior. A full truss system was added on site with a 24 gauge galvanized vertical seam made of ocean view metal, which extended throughout the easily accessible drive thru which was also completed on site.

Cost Energy Effectiveness : Customers equal growth in accounts for the client, keeping this in mind, this complex was provided with 1 92,000BTU gas up flow gas furnace with 5 ton pad mounted heat pump type condensers. This ensures that customers visiting the facility will have a comfortable and pleasant environment to work and conduct business in. The building was constructed using 2x4 studding with R-11 insulation and ½” vinyl GYP group II walls. Exterior walls are covered in beautiful brick finish and trimmed in elegant two-tone design to give the building its final touches while also making it more energy efficient.

Technical Innovation : One of the technical innovations of this project was requesting the factory to leave a 7’ opening on one of the outside modules in order to install the safe in the building on site and to finish the exterior wall and inside trim to match existing molding in the record room/vault room. The flooring was also double re-enforced with extra piers below for complete security for the weight of the vault. The complex was installed with the state of the art security functions to maximize complete security for the financial institution.
