Technical Innovation : The drilling program in the Piceance Basin has increased significantly over the last two years and is expected to continue to grow for many years to come. In an effort to provide better living accommodations, increase worker retention rates, minimize environmental impact and maximize safety, a major oil and gas operator decided to provide a centralized camp that will house not only their employees, but also drilling contractors and oilfield service personnel working in an area that is both very remote and difficult to access.
