Architectural Excellence : Pacific Mobile Structures along with the City of Ontario designed and built a 2,160 sq. ft. clubhouse to replace the city’s existing dilapidated structure. The spacious clubhouse was thoughtfully designed to accommodate more than 60 guests and golf course staff. The building consists of a 12’x30’ restroom facility and a 24’x60’ clubhouse comprising of a golf pro shop, full service snack bar and a dining area. The building’s color scheme was carefully devised to blend in with its natural surroundings. The clubhouse and restroom modular are seamlessly mated together, while the roof slope and exterior fascia creates the appearance of one solid unit. The site installed shade structure and exterior seating provides a relaxing environment for guests to take a break and enjoy the views of the golf course.
Cost Energy Effectiveness : The city’s new modular clubhouse offered the customer a cost-effective and time saving solution. The new building was designed and built as the existing golf shop was demolished. The grand opening of the golf shop was accelerated months ahead of traditional constructions allowing the city to generate revenue a lot sooner. The clubhouse was constructed to meet the newly implemented CALGreen codes ultimately increasing the performance of the building making it more energy efficient, water efficient and resource efficient.

Technical Innovation : This building features a 2.5/12 roof pitch with an energy saving white rubber EPDM. The exterior includes a double-glass store front door and a food service window. High performance, commercial-grade carpet squares were installed in the pro shop, club house, and dining area to offer a sophisticated look with exceptional durability to withstand high foot traffic. The food services preparation area includes a commercial grade sheet vinyl for long-term resilience, stainless-steel multi-bowl sinks, dishwashing stations, food warmers and beverage dispensers. The pro shop is equipped with countertops, glass casings and display boards to accommodate customer transactions including purchases, customer service and inquiries. Although the building has a permanent appearance, the building is fully relocatable, sitting on a pier and pad foundation with seismic strapping.
