Architectural Excellence : This building is the first contact visitors have with the owners manufacturing facility. It was important to the owner that the building has a pleasing appearance yet be functional as a guard house and trucker check in office.
Colors and finishes were used that compliment the owners corporate color scheme. The gabled roof standing seams with large overhangs give the building an esthetically pleasing touch.
Cost Energy Effectiveness : In addition to the standard fiberglass insulation package the building has a Tyvek Housewrap air infiltration barrier. The structure also has insulated, tinted glass windows, which reduce glare and direct heat from the sun due to the buildings direct southern exposure.
