Architectural Excellence : The work is located in Puertos gated community, on the shoreline of a lake owned by the estate. The program is organized into three volumes forming two groups, which are both located across the lake. The first two volumes include the access and shared-use premises program, and the third is the modular bedroom organized around the main courtyard.

Cost Energy Effectiveness : The selection of the modular construction system for the project was based on the potential need for future re-location and was made in the context of the sustainability and design trade fair; choosing a sustainable design and construction system was one of the reasons to select the modular construction system.

Technical Innovation : Given its value thanks to nature and renewable energy, the work project was developed based on the idea of articulating the requested program with its environment.
The use of large windows helps define the proposal to understand the landscape as a preliminary space, where indoor circulation proposes to “exit” to fully merge with the landscape to then re-enter the premises. The choice of materials was based on the structure and steel coverings combined with double glazing and security glass aluminum openings. Wall and compartment sizes are determined by panel sizes.
