Architectural Excellence : We teamed with the owner, Bank of Oklahoma, and its architect to design and build these banks in five months. Three branches were under construction at the same time. The owner’s prior schedules were 22 months.

This boutique bank has finely appointed granite slab counters, tile with carpet inlay, leather office and lobby furniture, chandeliers, and a mahogany ceiling and wainscoting. The personal banking format features private offices and a conference room with a small teller line. The waiting area has a “resort” feel.

It's a prototype design for the southwest market entry. It has steep sloped metal roofs with brick and stacked rock exteriors. Roof peaks accommodate mechanical systems. A recessed mahogany clad ceiling in the waiting area features chandeliers. Metal trellises and canopies provide shade and visual interest. The 25.5' monolithic entry tower rises 12’ inside, and is identified with the logo.

Cost Energy Effectiveness : Extreme desert summers require energy efficiency. All of our facilities are steel with a 6” wall stud, instead of a 4” stud gaining R-value. The EFIS exterior uses a 1” insulation board for a net R-value of 25 for the wall system. Roof systems employ R30+ batt insulation and rigid foam insulation for increased R-value and sound control. 3-phase electrical designs for minimum energy use include energy efficient HVAC units that use scroll compressors and programmable thermostats. The energy-efficient package uses 1” annealed, SOLEX dual glazing, tinted windows. Close tolerances minimize air infiltration into buildings. The building was sited to maximize solar benefits and window canopies were placed to control sun throughout the year, yet allow natural light. We have GC for all infrastructure and site improvements, utility and permit coordination.

Building 3 banks at the same time, and in 5 months, saved the client money.

Native plant material reduces water and maintenance costs.

Technical Innovation : This permanent, high public-use banking facility features steel superstructure and framing, and a slab-on-grade foundation with a combination of exterior materials including EIFS, slate, stone veneer & steel accents. The steel provides strength and durability for many years of commercial high public use.

All special systems, including bank-specific equipment such as satellite connections, night depositories, and drive-thru kiosks are coordinated with the client and integrated into the design.

Each branch was located in an existing retail center.
The interior mechanical mezzanine was designed for security and access. Additional modules were required to accommodate the systems height and access for repair. The roof height was increased to 22.6’ to accommodate the mezzanine.

Modular building technology allowed the owner to reduce time-to-market from 22 months, to five months.
