Architectural Excellence : This 48' x 50' temporary pre-construction presentation centre was designed to showcase a state-of-the-art, master-planned residential high-rise community located in the heart of one of the most vibrant neighbourhoods in the city. The presentation area incorporates a model room featuring photo and video displays of the proposed building. A stunning curved glass wall offers spectacular views of the architect-designed gardens and water feature overlooking the city below. Prospective buyers are invited to walk through to full-scale display suites replicating the layout, colours and finishes of the living spaces being sold.

Cost Energy Effectiveness : A modular sales centre is designed, delivered and installed before construction starts on the project so the developer can pre-sell the units before committing significant financial resources to the development. With the building shell intact, the temporary building can be relocated and renovated for another development, sold or re-used instead of demolishing a site-built presentation centre and display suite.

Technical Innovation : Four factory-built modules were used to provide the overall space required for the sales centre and the curved glass entrance was built on site at the front of these modules. A temporary block and pad wood foundation was used as the building support with structural beams and columns providing maximum open space. The building is heated and air conditioned using a split-system forced-air system and in-floor ducting with return and air supply ducting in the crawl space to maximize the interior room height and eliminate unsightly HVAC systems.
