Architectural Excellence : The project consist in the implementation of four classroom buildings (each building is conformed by four modules) for early years students. These classrooms are located in a available and open space in the school, creating a symmetrical complex with a children play yard, surrounded by vegetation and sports fields.
Each building has a total size of 150.45 m2, with a Gross total size of 601.80 m2.
The classrooms have openings in the four sides for natural lightning. These openings are over 20% of the total surface of the walls.
Additionally, to maximize ventilation and lightning, a roof window was positioned to improve comfort.
The entrance is protected from the rain by using slatted roof with wooden columns, beams and joists, with a finish of polycarbonate plates.
According to the building location, high windows were positioned to maintain privacy and registry of each classroom.

Cost Energy Effectiveness : The method used was EVM (Earned Value Management) that considers the use of tools such as “S” Curve and efficiency indicators.

Also, experienced subcontracts were hired for each part of the process (architecture, electric and mechanic facilities, mounting).

To maximize lightning and ventilation, a TEATINA is positioned on the roof to stimulate cross ventilation. The classrooms have openings in the four sides for natural lightning. These openings are over 20% of the total surface of the walls. According to the building location, high windows were positioned to maintain privacy and registry of each classroom.
In addition, ecological gas and efficient equipment was used for the air conditioning system.
