Technical Innovation : The project requirement was to produce a building of a unique design that needed to blend with the surrounding environment and be environmentally and cost sensitive. The client’s needs were to create two office areas with a common entry/reception space and an exterior court area that can be protected from the wind. Horizon North designers created an "H" shaped building that accommodated those needs, incorporating durable materials, enhancing the exterior appearance, independent heating and air conditioning system and complemented with a three way trussed roof system. Another characteristic was that the building can be easily expanded with additional modules to create extra office space.
