Architectural Excellence : This entry was designed as a single wide, skidded All-Electric Kitchen for the client to be shipped to Veradero, Cuba. This unit has custom built stainless steel upper cabinets, countertops and upright freezers to utilize optimum space. It also includes 3 stainless steel refrigerators, a 36” Garland grill with 2 ovens and canopy, Char-broiler, microwave and bakers table. The 400 gallon water storage tank provides capacity to be operational when in remote locations.

Cost Energy Effectiveness : R20 Icynene spray foam insulation is used in flooring, walls and ceiling. The vapor barrier on exterior walls consisted of 6 mil polyethylene and R28 Icynene spray foam insulation to further enhance limited exposure to humidity and insect invasion.

Technical Innovation : Interior walls and ceiling are FRP panels of reinforced fiberglass and are highly durable to extend the life of this unit. Pressure treated lumber and PWF plywood framing was installed to prevent damage from high humidity and insect invasion. An electric Bard heating/cooling system was end wall mounted to allow for straight ducting to ceiling mounted air ducts. Two Interherm units supplying 4000 cfm of MUA air complete with a 4 ton air conditioning unit were also installed to provide further comfort to the client.
