Structural EIT

R & S Tavares, the leading architetural and engineering firm in north San Diego county, providing Design Services, Structural Design, Consulting and Project Management for the Conventional and Modular/Pre-Fab construction industries is seeking an entry/intermediate engineer. The framework of the firm strives to progress the disciplines of architecture and the supporting construction industry by adopting the technology of Pre-engineered and Modular construction with more sustainable methods and systems alternatives.


The person selected for this position will be responsible for designing structural systems in multiple materials and the direct production of construction documents for those systems. He/She will interact with other members of our staff helping to coordinate projects with Architects, Contractors and other Engineers on a regular basis. We serve clients nationwide and hold multiple state licenses.

Qualifications:
4 year Engineering Degree with a Structural emphasis
EIT credential
Must be able to use and interpret results from RISA 3D, Enercalc and MathCAD or have a familiarity of similar programs.
Proficient in AutoCAD

Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree
IBC-CBC Building Code Experience
REVIT Experience and Proficiency
CA PE/SE
DSA Experience
Multi Story Steel/Wood Frame Experience

Compensation: 

$68,000 - $80,000 dependant on qualifications and experience.
