Position Overview
Guerdon LLC is seeking a talented Structural Drafter. In this position you will be responsible for structural framing aspects of all assigned project(s), including the recommendation of structural solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Review construction documents for conformance with project and factory
standards.
• Coordinate with Guerdon team at all project phases and disciplines.
• Generate BIM framing models for floor/ceiling and/or walls.
• Coordinate with other drafting disciplines for model clash detection.
• Generate fabrication drawings for in-house factory construction.
• Monitor progress of manufacturing in conformance with fabrication drawings and
collaborate with manufacturing on all inquiries.
• Complete all additional tasks assigned by management.
Qualifications
• Associates degree/diploma in drafting preferred
• 5+ years of related work experience in lieu of education
• Experience with Modeling software (BIM, Revit, etc)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass a pre-employment drug
screen and background check.
• On-site position—remote work is not available.
