Senior Design for Manufacturing and Assembly Manager
Bildt
Description
At Bildt, we build more than complex projects, and we build strong relationships, great teams, and lasting impact.
Bildt is a relationship‑driven prefabrication and modular construction company within The Boldt Group, focused on delivering smarter, faster, and higher‑quality building solutions through industrialized construction. We are seeking a senior Design (DfMA) leader who brings deep technical expertise, strong people leadership, and a collaborative mindset to help advance how projects are designed, manufactured, and delivered. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of design, manufacturing, and construction, and who values clarity, trust, and partnership across teams, clients, and trade partners.
In this role, you’ll lead the application of Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DfMA) across active projects, ensuring designs are fully aligned with Bildt’s modular, panelized, and volumetric construction strategies. You’ll work closely with architects, engineers, VDC teams, estimators, production, and project leaders to define scope, review models and shop drawings, reduce rework, and embed quality and safety into systems from the earliest design stages. As both a technical leader and people manager, you’ll mentor teams, drive continuous improvement, and help strengthen repeatable, scalable manufacturing solutions that deliver value to our partners and communities—while supporting Bildt’s mission to build better through collaboration and innovation.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $134,750- $181,483 annually. This information reflects the anticipated base salary for this position based on current market data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual’s skills, experiences, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
