Factory Launch & Product Compliance Lead (Interim)
Eureka Modular
Eureka Modular is building a modular and rapid-install construction manufacturing facility in the Los Angeles area. Our factory site has been secured, and we are entering the preparation and launch phase.
We are seeking a U.S.-based, hands-on execution leader to take ownership across three critical areas: product execution, compliance and permitting coordination, and factory launch support.
This is an interim, execution-first role created to lead the factory through its initial launch phase. A long-term leadership path is possible once core products, compliance pathways, and operations are established.
This is a true 0→1 role with real autonomy and accountability. It is not a traditional design role and not a pure plant manager position.
Core Responsibilities
Product Execution (Top Priority)
- Drive first-generation, sellable V1 systems for rapid-install interior construction
- Focus on interior and non-structural wall panel systems and rapid-install interior assemblies
- Translate product intent into buildable and approvable systems with external architects and engineers (AOR/EOR)
- Deliver a complete V1 package including:
- Bill of materials (BOM)
- Installation method
- Mock-up or sample plan
- Cost target
- Defined compliance pathway
- Objective is to deliver practical, sellable V1 systems within 60 to 90 days and then iterate
Compliance and Permitting Coordination (Immediate Priority)
- Serve as the primary execution and coordination interface with authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs), inspectors, and consultants
- Coordinate directly with Building Departments, Fire Departments, and MEP, Structural, and Fire consultants
- Drive plan review sequencing, inspection readiness, issue tracking, and approval progression
- Coordinate code and compliance resolution with licensed AOR/EOR and specialty consultants
- Advance factory operational permits and compliance pathways for sample builds and early production lines
- This role does not serve as Engineer or Architect of Record; all professional stamping is performed by licensed professionals retained by the company
Factory Launch Support
- Support factory layout and workflow planning
- Assist with early equipment planning and production-line logic from an execution standpoint
- Coordinate contractors, suppliers, and consultants
- Identify issues early, resolve them pragmatically, and maintain forward momentum during startup
- Help establish a minimum viable operating process that can scale over time
External and Internal Coordination
- Work with external design firms while maintaining internal ownership of execution
- Communicate directly with company leadership with direct reporting to the Founder
- Help establish minimum viable products and minimum viable processes for launch and scale
Candidate Profile
- Authorized to work long-term in the United States with consistent on-site presence in Southern California
- Background in one or more of the following:
- Construction
- Engineering

- Comfortable operating in fast-moving and imperfect environments with high accountability
- Strong ownership mindset with willingness to take responsibility beyond formal job descriptions
Strong Plus Experience
- Modular, panelized, prefabrication, or rapid-install systems
