Module Building Systems (MBS) is an advanced panelized offsite construction company headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri. We manufacture stick-built wall panels and floor cassettes on CNC equipment in a 40,000 square foot facility and ship them flat-packed on standard flatbeds to sites within 1,000 miles. Panels arrive finished. Windows, doors, cladding, insulation, sheathing, and MEP are pre-installed at the factory. A 1,500 square foot home is manufactured in one week and assembled onsite to weather-tight lockdown in four days. Fixed factory pricing delivers up to 30% lower project cost, 50% faster delivery, and 90% less construction waste. MBS serves ADUs, single-family homes, townhomes, multi-residential buildings of one to six stories, mixed-use, affordable housing, and disaster relief. Clients include developers, non-profit community development corporations, general contractors, municipalities, and state agencies. The company exists to solve a housing problem. MBS builds affordable housing for marginalized communities, supports North St. Louis tornado recovery, and brings manufacturing jobs back to the North Side. The factory sits in the neighborhood it serves. Workforce development runs inside the building. MBS partners with Ranken Technical College and SLATE, the St. Louis Agency on Training and Employment, to train and hire local residents on the factory floor.
