BROAD Sustainable Building, represented in north America by BROAD U.S.A., is the inventor of B-CORE, an innovative sandwich-structure stainless steel structural material that is far lighter yet far stronger than traditional construction materials.

B-CORE is used in the BROAD “Holon Building,” which is a 100% factory made modular multifamily building with stainless steel framing and designed to Passive House standards with a range of energy saving technologies and materials. 

The Holon Building offers the modular construction industry distinct features:

• An unlimited service life: B-CORE is over 30 times more resistant to corrosion than carbon steel
• Holon leverages the ultra high ductility of stainless steel to best withstand tensile stress
• Flexible modularity: The building height, floor plan and room layout can be changed any time after construction is completed through non load-bearing walls
• Holon is designed to Passive House design principles through a range of energy efficient materials and technologies, such as 3 and 4 paned windows, superior rock wool insulation, external sunshades       and internal thermal shades, recessed LED lighting, and energy recovery ventilation, all managed through optional AI control
• Shortest possible construction cycle: The Holon Building can be installed at 3 floors/day.
• 100% factory made: Migrating 100% of the building's manufacture to our high capacity and highly automated factory enables us to achieve the greatest savings in cost and project cycle

B-CORE is used in the BROAD “Holon Building,” which is a volumetric modular residential high-rise building delivered to the job site turnkey and ready to occupy upon installation. The Holon Building is designed to Passive House design principles.  

The Holon Building offers the modular construction industry distinct features:
