World of Modular Call for Speakers/Session Proposals
MBI is now accepting breakout session proposals for the 2027 World of Modular. This event is scheduled for April 5-8, 2027 (breakout sessions will occur April 6, 7, 8) in Orlando, FL. This is an in-person event.
Sessions must be educational in nature (i.e., not a pitch for a product or company), provide practical takeaways for the intended audience, should be 45-50 minutes in total length to enable 10-15 minutes of attendee Q&A and may be about any topic of interest to the commercial modular community, including but not limited to:
- best practices and project case studies (innovative design, construction, shipping, and/or installation methods, integrating modular and traditional construction, industrialized construction, navigating challenges and risks, lessons learned, factors for success, project scoping and management, safety, etc.)
- design & engineering (for those new to modular and technical/advanced topics)
- research & innovation (academic research, innovative products and services, innovative methods, innovative business models, etc.)
- regulatory trends & compliance
- managing the business (business models, operational efficiency, growth planning, leadership, marketing best practices, workforce development, safety, etc.)
- sustainability, net zero, green building, and circular economy
- automation and smart technology (AI, robotics, digital tools, smart building technologies, supply chain, implementing technology, etc.)
- getting started in modular (topics with those new to/transitioning to modular in mind)
- investment strategies (public-private partnerships, venture capital, finance models, etc.)

- By submitting a session proposal you agree to the event code of conduct, MBI's Code of Conduct, the MBI Speaker Policy, and that your session may be recorded.
- No compensation is provided for speaking. Speakers are responsible for their own event registration and travel expenses.
- Presentations selected by MBI do not constitute an endorsement of any company, individual, product, service, or business model.
