SUMMARY OF POSITION: The Major Projects Representative role involves US travel to various site locations depending on where contracts are sold and delivered to our clients. This role will consist of building NEW accounts and being the single point of contact for the leasing and set up process of the modular units at the site location. The Major Projects Representative will also ensure the negotiated contracts are managed to customer expectation.

Who You Are: As the ideal candidate for this role, you are someone who:

  • Seeks out and establishes partnership with potential new clients
  • Engages in the development and enhancement of the selling process by identifying opportunities, understanding buyer motivation, identifying competitive strengths/weaknesses and dealing with buyer objections
  • Produces project paperwork and quotations as required to properly execute the project in accordance with all company policies, including though not limited to: credit applications, contracts, project summaries, customer satisfaction surveys, quote logs and sales funnel
  • Follows sales contracts through to completion by overseeing set ups of rented and sold units to ensure contracts are executed according to agreed terms
  • Improves the company’s position as the leading supplier by recommending design improvements, new products & markets and ensuring that a marketing strategy is developed and maintained
  • Educates on market trends and competitor data while providing support to develop the Business Plan on an annual basis in addition to developing ongoing plans to foster sustainable long-term growth
  • Develops positive rapport with ATCO customers to ensure long term business relationship
  • Performs other various duties as required


  • Undergraduate degree in Business Administration or related field (preferred)
  • 5 years of sales or operations experience in a modular construction environment
  • Strong sales background and drive
  • Extended travel is required for this role 
  • Exposure to modular set ups is considered an asset
