Position Summary
This position requires an experienced salesperson and relationship manager who is responsible for developing and maintaining direct customer relationships with decision makers, educating them on the benefits of the FBS prefabricated building shell solution and answering technical questions regarding how our system is built. Previous construction experience is very helpful. We're looking for an enthusiastic self-starter who can take a prospect from quote to final installation and work collaboratively with the rest of the FBS team throughout the process. We seek a candidate committed to growth so that as our company grows, this individual will grow with it.

Reporting Relationships and Location
The Sales Account Manager will report directly to the Director of Business Development of Fullerton Companies and will work remotely with customers across the country as well as the FBS team in Plymouth, MN and Worthington, MN.

Summary of Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage customer accounts by developing leads, qualifying opportunities, conducting customer introductory education meetings, creating budget and quote requests, presenting quotes to customers, facilitating signed orders and acting as the primary customer point of contact through production and delivery.
  • Create direct customer opportunities for the FBS prefabricated building shell solution and apply qualifying skills to ensure we focus on high probability opportunities.
  • Educate prospective customers on the FBS solution, including providing answers to technical questions on how our system is built.
  • Create budget and quote requests by extracting needed information from plans and specifications.
  • Present final quotes to customers and facilitate signed orders.
  • Maintain primary customer point of contact through production and delivery.
  • Work collaboratively with estimating, design, purchasing, production and installation departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize CRM system to manage contact information and overall sales process.
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key customers and maintain long-term relationships.

Summary of Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Strong commitment to exceed customer expectations.
  • Experience in the residential or commercial construction industry is a requirement.
  • Experience in a complex, technical sales environment.
  • Ability to articulate a clear value proposition to clients and to provide a technical explanation on how our system is built.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace within a changing environment.
  • High degree of motivation, self-direction, commitment, and integrity.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including strong presentation skills.
  • 5+ years of successful sales experience in the construction industry.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications.
  • Some national travel will be required.
