Location- Position location considered in an onsite office setting, hybrid/remote work eligible, and various project locations.

 

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Abide by all Modular Genius, Inc. policies as found in the “Modular Genius, Inc. Employee Handbook.”
  • Oversee company’s promotion and advertising efforts to drive sales and build brand awareness.
  • Develop overall marketing strategies with executive team.
  • Create, supervise and/or approve campaigns.
  • Provides primary leadership in account delivery including implementing, evaluation, and modifying processes and procedures as necessary.  
  • Actively seek new business using marketing campaigns, e-commerce, telemarketing, site visits, and other methods.
  • Hire, train, and motivate your team to provide better customer service.  
  • Measure return on investment of various advertising methods
  • Monitor achievement of key performance indicators, competitive landscapes, identifying patterns, trends and roadblocks to success. 
  • Collaborate with other executives to make high-level decisions regarding the budget in order to find the profit margin and which campaigns were most successful.
  • Create engaging content and event experiences in-person and online.
  • Regular travel anticipated; may consist of auto and air travel. 
  • Define metrics and oversee work with sales and demand at the customer level to build monthly and quarterly forecasts and communication strategies.  
  • Build relationships with customers and vendors through creative strategies.  
  • Create graphics and layout for online communications. 
  • Perform other duties as requested. 

 

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field preferred
  • A minimum of 8+ years of Product, Sales, Finance and/or Marketing experience with a record of demonstrated achievement in sales growth and margin accretion; Modular and/or Commercial construction experience preferred.  
  • Computer proficiency to include Microsoft Office Suite and other ERP systems. 
  • Advanced collaboration, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; demonstrated success communicating effectively with and leading programs across all levels of the business.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ team leadership role required.
  • Advanced analytical skills with strong understanding of key business and financial metrics such as Sales, Gross Margins, Operating Margins, Inventory Turns, etc. 
  • Customer-focused, can-do mindset with a passion for problem-solving and commitment to excellence and continuous improvement. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation of group presentations.
